I rode in the rain a few days back and need to wash the Forza and have a few questions:
Can I use the same shampoo I use for my car?
How can you remove bugs and other stuff from the windshield without scratching it?
Can I use a wax to protect the body panels?
What to use to clean our scooter?

Re: What to use to clean our scooter?
As your Forza is the crescent blue which is a matte finish, cleaning is a whole different ballgame, DO NOT polish it at all ever, just wash with a wax-free shampoo or specialist matt cleaner.
It is essential to keep wax off the finish.
To get bugsplat off the windscreen, soak paper towels in soapy water, apply flat onto windscreen and leave there to soak for an hour or two, bugsplat should now wash off.
Same technique works on panels.

Nope, hi-gloss finish.gn2 wrote:As your Forza is the crescent blue which is a matte finish.......
I used a wet microfiber towel with soap and indeed it did the job, thanks for the tipgn2 wrote:..........To get bugsplat off the windscreen, soak paper towels in soapy water, apply flat onto windscreen and leave there to soak for an hour or two, bugsplat should now wash off.

I thought the blue was matte, anywho, if its gloss, same products you use on a gloss finish car.

If it’s gloss, just wash it with std car wash soap, then look to see if you can find any Meguires hybrid ceramic spray. The stuff is amazing and just wipes on like Windex…Lasts months....

Re: What to use to clean our scooter?
It acts like the cold wax that is used at the car wash. Used to have that stuff take a 10 liter [2.6 gallon] bucket fill it with clean cold water add a bit of cold wax and empty the bucket on the car.
The simplest wax job I ever did.
We can get Meguiar’s here in Europe.
