When stereo albums starting hitting the market it was a big deal. The 45's were still selling but to put on an album meant you didn't have to get up every few minutes to flip the record or put on something else. You were afraid to stack them because it could damage the surface.

Now you just put a "flash drive" in the USB port and let it play until the cows come home. LOL!!!
