hi guys again! 400km after replacing TPS and the news are good until now! no throttle hesitation no stalling! everything is fine! More 600km and then i can say surely that the problem was my faulty TPS!
markz thanks for your interest! you have right about the ECU! but it is very expensive and it will be my last chance if the problem is not the TPS!

hi guys..i have bad news.. 520km after replacing the TPS the engine stalled again.. it happened from stop to start and without using the idle stop..I spoke with my dealer and told me that there is nothing else to change from spare parts and he will try to communicate with the official dealer of Greece to tell him what we can do...until now, I have changed spark plug, battery, fuel pump, iacv valve, TPS and cleaned the throttle body...i am very disappointed...

hi guys again! the last time I went to my dealer, he told me to use the idle stop because he thinks tha the problem maybe be there..he disconected the cable from the rear brake, so now I can push the ignition button without pushing the rear brake when starting the engine..Also, he reset my ecu...using the idle stop as he told me, and after 1000km , the engine didn't stall again!! now, to understand what was the stalling problem, I should run more 1000km without using the idle stop... if I manage it, then i can surely say that my ecu needed to be reset.... !!

How did he reset the ECU?

So all that was needed was disconnect the cable from the rear brake and reset ECU?

I wonder why disconnect the cable.

he reset the ECU using the honda tester machine connecting with the usb of my ecu near the battery.. he disconnected the cable from the rear brake for insurance reasons. if my pcx stalls when the road is busy, there is a possibility the rear vehicle to hit me.

Mine started the same and today it was really bad, i could not move the scooter at all

So guys my updates are :

1.cleaned the O2 sensor
2. idle speed valve
3.and the whole throttle body and the scooter runs for starters, also runs better than ever ! 195.000km btw

babisbabou, wow! You must hold the record for the highest mileage on a PCX. That is great! I love my PCX and I get a lot of comments about it, but there are just as many questions about how long it will last, especially from riders who have Vespas! (Like they have a machine that is better than a Honda?? I doubt it.

Maybe i am a record holder, dunno well not all Honda's are good not all bikes of an other brand are not etc, but surely PCX125 is reliable enough, not to mention i am WOT all the time !!!

That's impressive. I'd previously heard of one that was 140,000+km, but not 195,000. Given that the odometer stops at 99999 have you replaced that, found a way to reset it, or are you just counting the number of times that the trip meter goes around the clock?

When you say your fuel pump is fine, does it create the specified pressure and pump the specified volume per unit of time?

Also, did you check your cylinder compression?

Did you check your clutch, clutch springs, made sure everything there is lubricated and moves freely? When was the last time you changed the variator and the belt?

How is your oxygen sensor? How is your muffler, not restricted I hope.

Does the bike burn oil?

What was the "honda tester machine" that you mentioned? What did you check with it?

Ah - OK - mine stops at 99,999.

I'd be interested to know a couple of things if you don't mind? What's your oil consumption history like and have you had to replace any wheel or engine bearings?
