Did my usual "Figure 8" ride around the waterfront.
We are in a "Tornado Watch" until 10:00PM this evening so the sky was interesting . . . somewhat eerie actually.
Saw a Doe and her Fawn crossing a few hundred feet in front of me near the Golf Course. . ..

As I slowed down to almost a complete stop the Fawn paused to get a better look at my scooter. LOL!!!
Bracing for Storm Isaias in a couple of days. It'll be a "Doozie".

Not raining today but a few days ago we had a lot of storm damage, power outages, and downed trees.
I took this pic during the height of the windy conditions. We didn't get hardly any rain and the sun was out too. Weird storm. Around 700,000 power customers in my state were effected and as of this morning I heard there were still about 100,000 out of power. It's a real bummer when it's hot out and the air conditioner won't work. My power is back on now and I couldn't be happier.
Nice to be able to ride again too!

Raining here now . . . 60 MPH wind gusts ramping up for later.
No riding for me today but I did get the KLR out on the road for about 40 miles yesterday.
I thought these wind driven storms would be over by now.
What a year this has been.

			Nope . . . it's not raining here today.
It's worse . . . snow and wind. Windchill factor between 5 and 10 F. Winds still 30 MPH plus.
I don't think I'd have fun even if I was on a snowmobile.

So, no scooter rides until the roads are clear and the salt has dissipated. That could be a few days. Warmer temps coming towards Christmas.

Hannukha has been a wash out so far....christmas looking the same...no family or friends to visit as they live too far away for ''day visits ''

The weather has been dreadful for a while and not looking much better over the festive period .....bikes haven't turned a wheel for 4 weeks.
Watching teh snow storms roll into the US....No doubt UK will follow......
