Looking into picking up a 2019 PCX 150 with ABS in California. I see MSRP is at $3999, but being that it's a 2 year old scooter, what kind of leverage/discount do you think I'd have here?
Realistically, what would the lowest OTD price I might be able to get away with from a dealer?
Thanks!

Hopefully a Cal. rider will ring in with their thoughts.
Around here in Ohio....OTD price would be about $5000.00.
Much better bet would be lightly used scoot from a private seller - with none of the massive dealer mark-ups!

Re: OTD price for 2019 PCX 150 w/ ABS?
i bought my 2020 pcx 150 in september here in ohio. it was hard to actually lay my hands on one. paid sticker of $3699 (non abs) and was $4600 out the door. So probably $4900ish. sometimes ive noticed if they have not unboxed a motorcycle or scooter and never connected battery, added fluids, etc. they will sit in them til someone pays for them. if they have one that has been test ridden and is full of fluids, they want to move them before they sit too long "ride ready"

Walk in with $4k cash and say that's all you have. I'm in So Cal.
I bought a New RUCKUS about a decade back. Sticker was $2,999.00 and walked out of there at $2,250.00 (granted my buddy hooked me up) but it gives you an idea how much mark up these bikes have.

Consider how many of the newer PCX 150s don't come with ABS before you gather your funds. Call around various dealers outside of your area to see what they have in stock and how many are ABS equipped. It may be in your best interest to go to a dealer outside of your current location and trailer it home. The typical markup is only about 10%, but dealers also have to consider the cost for storing their unsold merchandise. Those with a smaller dealership need to move their old stock or they will being paying outside storage fees, so they might be more eager to sell at a lower price than bigger dealers.

Re: OTD price for 2019 PCX 150 w/ ABS?
So my first quote down here in SoCal from Del Amo for a 2020 w/ ABS was $6k-$6.3k!! No thanks, lol.
Going to keep looking for a 2019 w/ ABS for hopefully around $4k. Seems like the 2019 ABS model is hard to come by down here, so I may just have to settle without.

I went to my faithful CYCLETRADER and came up with multiple stores that are selling the 2019 and the 2020 models for almost the same price ($3699 vs $3999). Here is a screen shot of a page from it, to give you an idea. There were 24 in stock, and about half were ABS.

I have both a 2019 without ABS and a 2020 with ABS. I was able to get both about $200.00 under MSRP. These are relatively low priced machines and the wiggle room is pretty small. Good luck.

Most UK dealers do not seem to budge on sales of recent reg scooters - only good offers on old stock they cannot sell. Probably due to not many coming back for services as so they make their money while they can.
