I'm getting a noise which appears to come from the clutch area upon acceleration from at or near a full stop. It's not a squeal, but a vibration/groaning thing. I'm going to be changing the rollers to Dr.Pullys soon and will check the belt for wear then (bike only has 9K) but I thought I'd ask the forum what I should look for if it's a clutch issue and how to fix it.
You guys are better than a manual.

Re: Noise with acceleration
9K miles seems a good refresh for the CVT. Inspect the clutch shoes and springs. Make sure everything is alright.
If you are already going to open up the CVT I would recommend upgrading the Variator. Cheap mod but Very much worth it.
Try getting a video of this should. That description could be anything.

Thanks. I'll try to post a video.
You happy with the NCY for a variator upgrade? Recommend it over a Massimo?

Re: Noise with acceleration
NCY variator and NCY Driveface is a great combo. Gained almost 10mph on the top end. Adding very light weights gave me the crazy accelerator (but you do lose MPG if thats an issue for you).
Plus its cheap enough that if it doesnt last forever, you can just replace it. I only have around 3k miles on it with very minimal wear so far.

Conelite
I see from other posts of yours that you own a Ruckus too. I also have one and done some work on it. Basic stuff, lighter variator weights, polini belt, eliminated the limiter...
Anyways, did you use a NCY variator on that or another kind? Make a difference? I'm only getting it to 43 on a flat straight away or downhill.
PCX is so much nicer on the road but I love the Ruckus for the fact I take it in the woods, running out to my deer stand etc. Also my wife will ride it around town.
