Levers for tiny hands

Hi everyone, new PCX rider here. I’m loving my bike so much but having all sorts of trouble reaching the brake levers. They are so far away for my tiny hands that sometimes when I brake (especially in fast braking situations) I’m actually rolling on the throttle.
There doesn’t seem to be a lot of levers available for the 2021 PCX and the ones I’ve found that are adjustable only adjust to make them further away, not closer.
Does anyone know of any levers that either are already closer to the grips, or can be adjusted closer to the grips?
Failing that, is there a way to move the original levers closer?
Really appreciate any advice on this.

Strange as reaching for the brake lever with your right hand would normally close the throttle.

I’d think about lowering the angle of your front and rear brake levers first.

Slacken the screws holding the brackets, rotate downwards and retighten

Mel46, I did buy adjustable levers from them but they adjusted further away, not closer. Their closest setting was the same as the original ones. I asked if they had ones that adjusted closer and they told me they didn’t.
You You, I think it’s once I’ve grabbed the brake lever and am squeezing it that I sometimes get some roll on throttle.
I’m just amazed they don’t have levers that adjust closer!!

Did you try adjusting the angle of the levers? It can make a huge difference. It’s one of the first things I do when I get a new bike.

There are adjustable handles that are long and there are ones that are short. I bought ones for both my bike and for my wife's bike. She has small hands. We sold her bike last year but I still have mine. I just checked the adjustment on mine. Position 1 is closest to the handlebar. I ride with mine middle ways out, while my wife rode with hers set to 1.

There are multiple sites that sell adjustable levers. Here are some listed on Amazon, but they are not the only ones selling adjustable levers. If you can't get it adjusted to your liking, ask the Honda shop to do it. Make sure you adjust the left adjustment cable in the rear as well.

I've also given a little throttle when pulling the brake lever - only very occasionally but at times. I've still got the original levers on my 2014 but have never been a fan as I have normal length fingers not long ones.

I fit RST large textile gloves perfectly but most other gloves in different sizes have 1/2-3/4" flap on some fingers.

Iceman they do seem very far away compared to other bikes I’ve ridden! I fit into a women’s xs glove.

Have you tried it yet.

They are generally set to high for me but you will need to see for yourself. Sit on the bike, without gloves, and see where the fingers naturally lie.

You you thanks for checking in. I did have a look at that. The height seems pretty good I think. My wrists seem to be nice and straight. Not kinked either way.

I’ve bought another set of levers that said they sit closer so hopefully they do
Just have to get them fitted now. I’m not very handy.
