I have a 2021 Honda PCX150a (US spec).
Currently at 1000 miles, break-in service done.
My sales person told me the PCX will go 80mph.
In real life I'm only getting 55mph.
Im not asking about future aftermarket parts. What is the real top speed I should be expecting?
What is your max speed?

Re: What is your max speed?
My 125 will cruise at 60mph and will go up to 65mpg on a good push but don't like to do it as its revving its ass off. I keep mine between 55 and 60 normaly at half throttle unless its a decent incline. I weight 94kg with all my kit and I've got a big screen on mine too if that info helps at all
CBR1100XX blackbird (modified), CBR929RR Turbo, CBR600F Sport (modified), several beta trials bikes and endurance bikes
Re: What is your max speed?
So your 125 can do 65 and my 150 does 55. Im going to have mine looked at.Mon-Eye wrote: ↑Thu Mar 03, 2022 4:50 pm My 125 will cruise at 60mph and will go up to 65mpg on a good push but don't like to do it as its revving its ass off. Re: What is your max speed?
Yeh I would defonatly get it looked at as the 150s are 5bhp more than the 125s i belive so yours should cruise at 60mph all day long likeCorcor wrote: ↑Thu Mar 03, 2022 10:01 pmSo your 125 can do 65 and my 150 does 55. Re: What is your max speed?
I think your salesman was telling tall tales.
I have a 2019 US spec 150 and can always get 63or 64 on flat land in no wind. It is limited to 67 when going downhill.
Malossi variator kit, extra tall wind screen and 35 liter top box. I weigh 180 in all my gear. Scoot has 2700 miles on it. Before the variator kit I could only get 61 on flat ground and 65 downhill.
Cheers

My 2021 doesnt go over 55 period. Your 63/64 is still more, its probably your variator kit…. Im asking about stock.dankly1 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 06, 2022 8:10 pm I think your salesman was telling tall tales.

Re: What is your max speed?
Asked and answered. Sounds like there is something going on with your bike and I would have the dealer figure it out.
Cheers!
