Yes. The 2021 and 2022 PCXs in the US are 160s. Well, it's actually 156.9 cc, but who's counting.

Re: Is the PCX160 even being sold in the States?
To clarify: There has been no "PCX160" model name in the US. Since the 2021 model, though equipped with the new engine, this Honda model is now called simply a "PCX".

With the larger engine you could use the PCX for the unrestricted motorcycle license test in IL. The cutoff is 150cc. My 2019, with 149cc, would only have let me get a license for under 150cc vehicles. I wonder how much performance difference the extra cc’s make.

10 cc Absolutely makes no discernible difference from the seat of your pants regarding performance.

It's not just 10cc alone! It's a 4 valve vs 2 valve motor in the old, as well!!
From what I know... a PCX150 goes 64 mph stock, but can reach 74 mph with modding CVT drive face, rollers, etc.
From what I've heard... a new PCX [160] goes 74 stock, but can reach 84 mph with unkonwn modding (likely same CVT drive face & rollers?)
So to answer your question, the 10cc and extra valves give an extra 10 mph either way.

Re: Is the PCX160 even being sold in the States?
Thanks!!
Feel like that's a marketing mistake, but I guess with time it will hopefully work itself out. But if ANYBODY *else* in the States is searching for a PCX160, they might not have access to this community and just some motorcycle dealer(s) that only stock the ADV150 and not any form of PCX. Kinda unfortunate. But now we know!!

We’ve been over this before the PCX 160 isn’t any faster than 150… 2 valve versus four valve versus 150 versus 160 it doesn’t matter it may be a mile or two more but nothing that matters. There is a post here by somebody who was telling all the difference and he was shut down several times by people that had the bike.

I hate this site because you can’t edit… The bottom line is a 2019 or 2020 is about the same top speed as a 21 or 22… stock bikes without messing with the roller variator etc. etc.

Re: Is the PCX160 even being sold in the States?
First of all, the 2022 is the only PCX that is otherwise known as the PCX160 elsewhere.
Second of all, I think there was once a time where people said the PCX150 couldn't go 74 from only upgrading rollers and drive face....
So I've still got hope that if it can hit 75 stock that upgrades will get it in over 80. Wishful thinking? Perhaps! But they're is a video where somebody hits 134 km/h or something like that, which is around 83 mph. How else could be very that fast? He'd HAVE to change the rollers & drive face. Anything else? Who knows... But being only 155 pounds and frequently drafting behind trucks pretty much means I can always hit the rev limiter.
Guess I might wait a year or so to go but one brand new, tho. Thought the 2022 PCX would indeed be my first and likely only brand new vehicle purchased straight from the dealership. Maybe 2023 is my year!

Re: Is the PCX160 even being sold in the States?
Ok, well... Scratch the first bit. Apparently the 2021 model year *was* the first PCX[160].
Even the *old* PCX150 kicks ass for a light ol' flatlander like myself, but I always seem to have an itch to go just a little bit faster every once in awhile... but I really have no interest of going over 85 or 90 mph ever -- at least for now.
The dream of riding 80 to 85 mph on two wheels continues....
