Faster than a bicycle and way more fun than driving a car! But at the sacrifice of both speed and comfort. (At my 5000 ft altitude I could only hit 45mph on a downhill, and after an hour of riding (my work commute at that time) I REALLY wanted to get off the bike for a while!) 
And at that price?? 
To be fair, when I'm on my PCX I never get thumbs-up from Harley riders like I did on my C70 Passport.
