Hello, I bought a Honda PCX today and I'm reading the manual. I'm reading the part about inspecting front break pads. In the demonstration picture in the manual it shows where they are and that there is 3 indicator points on each side of the disc, but I'm not sure what I'm looking at still... It's probably obvious but I can't see it.
Can anybody help me locate the wear indicators?
I'd appreciate it. Thank you.
Where are the brake wear indicators located?

Re: Where are the brake wear indicators located?
You probably don't really need them. Take a torch and look inside the caliper. You will see the rotor, the disc that is attached to the wheel, and the brake pad. The brake pad has a backing plate and a sacrificial soft pad material between the two. When this wears down close to the backing plate then you replace the pads.
