Coming off 50 years of motorcycling, and moving to a scooter for the riding position. I’m considering a used Forza.
I would appreciate some advice on where to look for problem areas, or typical wear or maintenance that gets neglected.
Thanks

Re: Newbie looking for guidance
spin the front wheel if you can, I just replaced my front wheel bearings but they had 100,000 miles of abuse actually 178,000 km ridden so far.
Check for recalls done, there have been a few.
If you buy one, all of the gas gauges are inaccurate . Use the trip odometer
It is an almost 300CC SCOOTER. It is not a 100 mph freeway machine. Side roads are more fun.
The 2014 first gen can have the handlebars rotated for more comfort
you 300 lb Americans are too heavy for this scooter, no 7 footers.
Tires are hard to get, I mail order mine From Fortnine.ca for Canada delivery

Re: Newbie looking for guidance
Some Americans loose their motorcycle license, medical or impaired driving and buy a scooter. The Forza 300 is a heavy pig that requires a full motorcycle license in Canada, over 49cc

Thanks. Hadn’t thought about recalls on a scooter.
Can you point me to where I can find the recalls?
