Falling seat-seat damper.... Fixed!

I got my 2015 Forza 300 3 weeks ago, and noted the seat damper wasn't functioning. The seat banged me on the head a few times ! I cut a piece of leftover PEX water pipe to fit into the document holder and into any of the bolts on the latch end of the seat. The pipe is flexible and adjustable . I think it's way more useful, cost me nothing, weighs next to nothing, takes hardly any space in the trunk. If I have to take the body panels off in the future I may replace the strut.

my seat hit me on the head also. I think Honda should replace my scooter before I get serious brain damage.
I have 180 thousand km on the scooter. If I get anymore brain damage I may have to sell the scooter at a loss.
