Hello,
I have a honda pcx125 year:2021 (bought new). I am very happy with it (very economical, low maintenance etc).
However yesterday i took it for the 3rd service as it has 10k kms now (done in nearly 2yrs). The mechanic told me to wash it well from underneath so he can inspect further as there was oil leakage issue...he noticed it from the centre stand as it was full of old oil....honestly i did not recognize...i thought it was normal dirt....and also the bike does not give any warning signs if it low on oil. Long story short i washed it and took it back...however he couldnt pinpoint from where the issue was coming from and told me to bring it another day for further inspection. I have 2 questions: 1) If its a seal or gaskit...should it be covered by warranty? 2? I took a photo of a dent from beneath the bike...it looks like the cylinder head...but not sure..please find attached....should i be worried?

Re: Honda pcx 2021 leaking oil
Do not let the oil get low so that the oil warning light comes on. This is bad.
If you are worried about oil, check the dip stick regularly.
It's possible the oil leak is just from spilling during a refill. It is easy to spill the oil and it will run down the stand.
When the sump is drained oil can also run down the stand as the bolt is next to the center stand.
Clean it up. Check your bolts, and check oil every 100km. If oil is not going down, then check every 500km, then 1000km of no signs of a problem.
I'm not sure about dent. Doesn't look good, but I don't think it will affect running. I'll have to compare to my scooter.

That Dent looks like you hit a rock or something. Thats definitely the case, not the cylinder head.
As for the Oil, I would recommend degreasing everything and keeping an eye on the oil level. and inspect regularly to pinpoint the area its leaking from.

I'd agree and it's in an odd place up the side of their too. Is the coolant level OK too ?
