Re: How many miles do you have on your PCX
Hello, all.
I have a 2015 / 150cc PCX which this week will do its 100,000th kilometre, or its 62,000th mile.
I never scrimp on servicing costs, always buying genuine Honda parts.
If you'd like to see the "likely" (or my idea of reasonable) maintenance over that time and distance, click the link below.
If you know how to, you can see what was done in distance order or by category, by adjusting the file settings.
I have spent, probably, over half what the bike cost to buy in servicing over 8 years and the above distance.
I bought it for 300,000 Yen with 4,400 kilometres on it when it was 9 months old.
The bike has needed one repair (as opposed to maintenance) and that was a new coil at about 70 to 80 thousand kilos.
I use it almost every day of the year and it is my only commuting vehicle all-year-round.
(Yen to GBP or USD etc is a pointless calculation as I earn and spend in Yen and you probably don't, and currency-to-currency value is largely arbitrary based on speculation and economies' current states... but if you must convert... click below for the current rates.

Maintenance (click below)

Hope that gives someone a simple idea of a potential service-life of the bike.
As an aside, I tried logging into this site about a week ago, to be told that the domain was no longer being used.

Wow! Some of you guys put some insane miles on your bikes. I’m only at 8500mi on 2013. Good to know these are made for the long haul with minimal maintenance.

I'm at 4,560 mi on my 2021 bought new in Sept of that same year. I've only changed oil twice, once at 600mi, once at 4,500mi. Changed final drive oil. Adjusted the rear brake by a turn on the nut. Just got done checking valves (they didn't need any adjustment).

Re: How many miles do you have on your PCX
I'm at 102,000 kilometres.
One repair in all that time, but probably more scheduled maintenance even than Honda asks for in the book.
The repair was a new coil at about 75,000.
I do, however, have to change the clutch bearings about every 10-20 thousand kilos.
They are the bike's one weak point (2015/150).
Last checked my valves at 9,000 (nine thousand) kilos.
The professional mechanic where I buy my parts tells me that after checking them once, if the bike has no trouble starting, then there is no need.
Stick basically to the Honda book maintenance schedule and you'll be fine up into the fairly high mileage range I am in.
EDIT...
And I still get a little over 45 kilos/litre (UK = 127 MPG or US = 106 PMG) and with basically the same performance.

Re: How many miles do you have on your PCX
I have had a 2019 for over a year and have put about 1000 miles on it. Incidentally I purchased a 2021 last weekend with similar miles on it. They both have 3500 miles approximately. It is searing hot in Tampa FL and it is almost impossible to ride. I am hoping that weather improves a bit. I love these scooters.
