New Givi windshield
Well I have had enough of the "shorty" windshield so I ordered a new Givi unit. My Forza is in winter storage so it will probably be installed in May of next year! Will update after that!

Re: New Givi windshield
I have had the HONDA TALL windshield on for 165,000 km on my 2014 Honda Forza 280. (300 is just a fraud)
I find the bike more stable in gusty headwinds.
Sometimes it is too tall, wind does not blow rain off of my face shield.
And adjustable one would be nice.

Re: New Givi windshield
I've been using the Givi adjustable on my '14 Forza for quite a while now and am very happy with it.
Current ride: 2014 Forza bought new in mid-2015; still only 18K on the odo
Traded in: 2003 GL1800 with 152K and several IBA rides on the clock
6 other previous bikes
nearly 3/4 million miles logged
now just commuting instead of touring

Re: New Givi windshield
Sorry for reviving an old ish thread, where can I buy an adjustable givi screen for a 2016 forza 300? (Uk). I can only find the non adjustable givi?

Re: New Givi windshield
As promised, It is May and I just got my Forza out of hibernation... The Sta-Bil and a battery maintainer did their job and it started back up!
I installed the new Givi windshield and am very happy so far, too late to ride it, but tomorrow it will get a thorough testing!!!

Re: New Givi windshield
I recently acquired a 2015 Forza 300. It came with what appears to be more of a sport bike looking stub of a windscreen. I'm guessing this the standard USA stock setup.
Initially I had planned on replacing this tiny windscreen from the get go. Yet while bringing it home on Route 66 from Tulsa to Oklahoma City, after what felt like a decently long 1st ride, I ended up trying a few positions - including a tucked position which seemed to have the least wind resistance. Tucking for that distance wasn't so bad, and made it easier to jockey style the occasional bumps.
Long story short. I'm okay with tucking (at least for now). Would a larger windscreen make the scooter more or less aerodynamic? I'm all for aerodynamics. For those that have changed windscreens. Did you notice a difference in MPG or top speed? And was the difference an improvement or loss?
Which windscreen option is going to be the most aerodynamic? And how much difference in MPG or speed are we talking?

Re: New Givi windshield
I can't give a lot of specifics... My mileage seems to run about the same (70 MPG or so). But for me the comfort, and less bugs hitting me are worth it. Personally, I don't like the tuck position exception for very short duration. I am happy with the Givi and have put a 100 plus miles on it so far.
Good luck with yours!

Re: New Givi windshield
UPDATE:
The Givi windshield has been great for sure but the other day I took a 183 mile ride with a friend and noticed that the windshield jiggled a bit on one side. Today I took it apart and the top bolt fell out, yikes! All the other 3 were fine, my conclusion is that some dummy did not get one of them tight (DOH). So I used some loctite and reassembled it. Fine now, Thankfully it was an easy fix and I did not lose the windshield!
