handguards
I was thinking about getting heated grips and Barkbuster storm S1 handguards. Has anyone used these guards? Will they work ok?

Re: handguards
I had some generic ones on mine for a bit, but I put them on my dirt bike.
These are good to protect from wind, but they WILL NOT help your hands at all in an accident. I nearly broke my wrist because of them. The first time out with the guards on, I lowsided my KTM after installing them (lowsiding is a regular occurrence dirt biking), the wrist guards snapped up, and nearly whacked my hand. If I hadn't let go of the bars and separated from the bike when I had, I would have gotten tangled up with the bike by my wrist. Needless to say, I took them off and never used them again.
I got some on Amazon.com, there are a whole bunch of them there. Some of the generic kits are ~$30 and can be fitted if you get your bar size right.
