I previously had a 50cc Chinese scooter, which I enjoyed working on the clutch and tuning. However, the look and styling of the PCX is absolutely gorgeous!
I'm looking forward to picking brains and scouring the libraries!

I recently bought a 2011 PCX 125 about two weeks ago. I live about 5 miles from work and love riding it to and from. The bike has around 6,000 miles on it, but being a mechanic and a notorious tinkerer, I'm looking to make it more fun than stock.

I’m an old rider, i’ve owned a number of two or three wheeled vehicles over the years: a Sears Sabre, Harley 125 dirt bike, Honda NX 250, Honda Twin Star 200, Honda Nighthawk 750, Harley Superglide 1440, Triumph trophy 1200, Honda elite 80 scooter, Honda Forza 300, Yamaha Vino 125, a Can Am Spyder RT, and now a 2013 PCX 150. If I live long enough, who knows what’s next? I thank the good Lord for the health to be able to still ride. Howdy scooter fans.

Hello Brothers and Sisters in the wind!
Have been riding scooters, to commute to work, for over twenty years. My first scooter was a Lance GSR 150 that I braved the expressways with to get to work. My next scooter was a highway capable 2008 SYM HD200 that I purchased at Cambrian Go-Karts in Campbell. The HD200 is a nice scooter. That scooter was totaled by a car that turned right into me when I was on my way to work. A new 2013 SYM HD200 Evo was purchased from SFMoto in San Francisco. with the insurance money I had received. Rode that capable scooter until about a month ago when it failed to start and needs dealership attention. My local dealer, Cambrian Go-Karts, closed during the Covid Pandemic. The closest SYM dealer is now over fifty miles away. Sym is good but I need a dealer that is closer.
I was desperate
to buy a new vehicle to commute with as I have bills to pay.
I knew Honda Yamaha or Suzuki were my best bet to buy a new scooter with nearby dealerships, as they have two local dealerships each. I searched and inquired about the new scooters available, in the same size class of the HD200 evo and was surprised
of the lack of new scooters in my area. Ultimately the local Honda dealer, GP Sports in Campbell, told me that they were expecting a couple of Honda ADVs. I put a deposit on one on a Thursday and was told I had to wait till Wednesday to pick it up. on Saturday I went to the GP Sports to seal the deal for the ADV. Before finalizing the deal I asked if they had any other scooters. They surprisingly said that a 2024 PCX 150 was delivered on Friday. I found the PCX 150 on the floor. The matte brown paint drew me in. I was immediately in love.
The 2024 Honda PCX is a nice scooter!
The two first weeks of commuting to work, 290 miles, have literally been a breeze.
One thing that broke wind was that the matte brown color of the PCX and my black jacket is kind of like camouflage and was nearly broadsided by a SUV on the freeway and was feeling invisible. I ordered and received a high visibility vest. Being seen is better than being viewed!
I love my new scooter and look forward to experiencing the features, the reliability, and the dealer service of the 2024 Honda PCX. I appreciate the PCX Forum and am looking forward to interacting with you scooterists.
Have a nice ride!

Hello all, I just picked up a new 2025 Honda ADV 160. Not new to scooters or motorcycles. Have been riding since 1972. The ADV is my first Honda scooter. I look forward to getting to know the ADV and information from this forum.
Thank you,
Jim

Re: Hello Newbies! We're Glad You Found Us!
Greetings from the UK. In my younger years was a motorbike courier on a Kawasaki Z200, but after a lengthy gap have bought a 2-wheeler again. In fact twice, first was stolen a couple of months ago, and have just bought a replacement. To be honest, I would have liked something a little more powerful, but this has to be carried on the back of our motorhome (sorry, RV), and hence the weight is all important. Having said that, I really like the PCX - it is SO easy to ride, and great fun. So I'm a very happy rider - again!

Re: Hello Newbies! We're Glad You Found Us!
Hello everyone,
I just picked up my first scooter a couple days ago. I've ridden motorcycles for about 30 years. Like many, I worked up through bigger bikes and then realized I had more fun on smaller bikes. I changed back to a smaller bike, a Suzuki V Strom, which I rode for several years. I really liked the V Strom a lot but it was tall for me at 5'8".
Finally, I sold it about 2 years ago because I found I just wasn't riding it much anymore. Well, I realized I missed riding and started the search. I thought long and hard about the places I want to ride and how I want to ride. I came to the conclusion that smaller was going to be better but disappointed at the choices for smaller displacement motorcycles. It basically boiled down to dual sports, and a couple of "beginner" sport bikes if you include up to 400cc. I have no issue with any of these, in fact I like just about all motorcycles, but they just were not want I was looking for.
This all lead me to scooters, which I had never even considered before. I delayed a long time because I just didn't know I would like a scooter. Finally, I just couldn't ignore it any more. Convenient, check. Manageable seat height, check. Built in cargo space, check. Low maintenance and no chain cleaning, check (I admit this was a big one by itself). Great MPG, check. And the list goes on. The hunt was on.
I was a bit dissappointed with so few options available in the US. Finally, last week I found a used 2023 PCX that the orignal owner traded in near immediately with just 57 miles on it. The price was right and even came with the balance of the Honda warranty. I can't imagine why it was traded so quickly. 57 miles is barely even a test ride.
Apologies for rambling. The scooter world is new to be but it's been great so far. I think there are a lot of new expriences ahead of me.

Greeetings fm country Malaysia, new ADV350 owner here which just launch in our country. past scooter bikes Spacy 108cc, Xmax250, Adv150, now ADV350 and Vario 160 (same engine as adv160). its rather funny not been able to find ADV350 as much as Forza 300/350 around the globe. the most active adv350 would be in Thailand. no doubt adv350 max is around 150kmh (93mph), i want it as it allows me to go almost anywhere, tmax, x-adv would be pricier but too heavy to my liking.
yet to modified any cvt area yet on adv350. however my vario160 i changed to YSS single shock, groove the clutch bell, dig the variator to ensure roller goes higher up, using 11gm roller and so far am satisfied.

Hi all
Bit of a dinosaur with this sort of thing. Have a PCX 125 2024.
Used to ride about 20 years ago. Had an accident and lost interest. Now getting back into the swing of things.
Just wondered if anyone would be able to send me a workshop or repair manual, as would like to make some modifications. Thanks.
Nice to meet you all

Hello fellow Honda owners/ riders, Gary here from a very small village in northern Thailand. To be honest I'm actually from the UK but retired in 2018 and moved here 3 weeks later. I know what some of you are thinking , why am I here ? Simple reasons, first it was retire and live ok out here or keep working to 67 in the UK, second my wife is thai and rather then her move to me it was much better all round moving here and my work pension goes a long way. Thirdly I can own a Honda adv 150 here which I've never seen in the UK ( I hardly ever go back there) . We also have a PCX150 in the house and a Honda scoopy so plenty of Honda.
I've had plenty of assorted bikes over the years from BSA Bantams to Suzuki GSX 1100's but now my Honda suits me for pottering about and anyone who's driven out here knows the roads are pretty rubbish , the road users ignore all riles of the road and Thsiland has the 2nd highest number of road deaths in the world ,so all in all a 150cc makes sense most of the time .
Anyway that's me and a bit about me . I look forward to being a forum member and seeing what other Honda owners are getting up to. Cheers for now. Gary

Re: Hello Newbies! We're Glad You Found Us!
Hello everyone!
I got a 2014 Forza 300 back in November, one with 14K miles on it. I missed having a motorcycle, and the Forza 300 seemed like the best compromise, 60+ MPG, able to go 85 MPH on the freeway, and just all the features and capabilities I wanted. Still need to get my wife on the back and get her used to being on it, and also show her how to ride it. She drives manual transmission cars just fine, but because of her dyslexia, manual-trans motorcycles bedevil her. So the CVT Forza, I think she'll be able to ride at some point.
I got a deal on the Forza because it had "starting issues". The seller, a gal, showed me that you had to buck the Forza like a bronc-busting competition, while holding both brakes and pressing the starter button, to get it to start. Well, I rode it 4 hours home, then some internet searches showed the trick: You have to press the LEFT brake lever REALLY HARD, harder than when braking, until it CLICKED TWICE. Right lever only has to be pressed to the first click, easy. Then it started right up every time without needing the bronco-busting foolishness. Now I just consider that a "feature", i.e. an extra "anti-theft" device.
The other issue with the Forza is that the fuel gauge doesn't work, simply sits at Empty, and doesn't move. Maybe the tank float is stuck to the bottom of the tank? Any ideas? I didn't find any threads that closely matched so I may start a Forza tech thread for that one.
The other "issue" is how to switch the "Km/L" on the dash to "MP/G" instead. In the meantime, it shows anywhere from 26.2 to 25.2 Km/L. Anyone got a quick bit of info on how to switch to imperial units?
Previous motorcyles I've had... 1969 Honda CL 350 twin, 1977 Kawasaki KZ-650 four (IIRC), and a 1980 Honda CX-500 twin. Loved them all, sold the first two when I had kids, then bought the CX-500 off eBay, flew from WA state to CA, and rode the bike up Hwy 101 back to Olympia WA in one long ride with a couple stops for naps. Living dangerously perhaps, but it worked out for me.
Now I'm thinking of getting a 2010-ish Honda Elite for my wife, or a PCX 125 if one pops up within a couple hours of me.
Now I live in Florida, and ride the Forza back and forth between Orlando and the Space Coast, a little over an hour ride. I'm on the Space Coast at the moment, in Melbourne FL, next to the Indian River Lagoon.
