Mirrors
about 4 pm I got my bike out to go too work but wasn't looking forward riding to work in all this snow, thank got the bloke I work for phoned me and offered me a lift, so left the bike outside and locked her up. Then got a phone call at about 10 from my son saying that my bike was laying on its side, I couldn't do anything about it till I got home this morning so the bike had to stay where it was for 3 more hours, It was too dark to do a full damage report when I got home but I do need a new right hand mirror I have seen a pair on amazon and wonder will the mirrors fit? :Thanks http://www.amazon.co.uk/Motorcycle-Mirr ... 03&sr=8-29
Re: Mirrors
10mm thread is correct.
Re: Mirrors
Thanks Taz,
Am I right with thinking that the right hand mirror on the PCX has a left hand thread ?

Re: Mirrors
I've had a beer since I removed my mirrors but I think they were both right hand threads.
It was a big beer though, they could have been clip ons.

More than two wheels is too many.

Re: Mirrors
one side is a reversed thread, same like most bikes. Most mirrors come with one thread reversed.
Re: Mirrors
Wait!!!
Before buying these mirrors just check that the PCX does have YAMAHA type threads. Most bikes have different left hand/ right hand mirror threads, but Yamaha have the same thread on both mirrors that mean they don't fit most bikes.
I'm not sure whether the PCX has this type of thread, so my advice would be to wait til someone can confirm this on here!
This pair on Amazon look like they probably won't fit.
Hope this helps.
Tom.

Re: Mirrors
Just been to the garage, both are right hand threads. And I haven't had a beer (yet).
More than two wheels is too many.

Re: Mirrors
well Ive done 3 or 4 mirror swaps and never had a problem with any 10mm mirrors bought on eBay, They usually have a few different thread adaptors including reversing.
Re: Mirrors
Thanks to all, couldn't wait so the mirror are in the post
Now I will have to find some thread adaptors
