Apparently the design team did not take into consideration 6+ foot tall Americans and Europeans, so for that we get the seat hump.

I must admit in our local scooter club rallies when I am parked with 30 or more vespas and maxi scooters that bystanders often home in and only want to ask about the pcx!

Obviously the Thai market took precedence though. The European/US market is so huge some consideration should have been given to riders in these areas. Don't get me wrong the PCX is a great little machine and I love mine but I'm a big, heavy bloke. There's not much point in canvassing riders in Bangkok restaurants for folk like me (I should imagine) It can't be too difficult to ask the opinion of those in Power Road,Chiswick, or at Honda USA for their views on respective rider needs. They could have made a slightly different seat for each market, redesigned the indicators for the US market,- stuff like that. That said, the seat has never been a problem for me. If I have a gripe it's probably just the lack of a clock and the need to remove so much plastic for routine service jobs. I wonder if they've designed the Forza 300 with more Western tastes in mind. I can't wait to find out.

That was exactly my thought. I weight 250 Lbs (I have no clue how many stones that is. ) and plan on replacing my seat soon after the purchase.

In the global market, the North American market is insignificant in scooter sales. It's all about motorcycles here.
