Hi everyone,
last month I bought a new PCX150 pearl white/black and I have started a twitter page (pcx150_2013) on fuel and stuff. Any experiences or suggestions?
Greetings,

Re: PCX150 2013 Fuel consumption
All I know is that my scoot is cheaper to ride (gas-wise) than my F650 - 45mpg- and way, way cheaper than driving my truck - 17mpg
Riding to work I get about two weeks out of a tank and with a fill up costing less than $5, I'm a happy camper.

I bought a 2013 PCX 150 in January. On the first tank I got about 80 mpg. My second tank was 86 mpg. I think this will continue to climb into the low 90's after break in. As rainer stated "my truck get 17mpg" that is what mine gets also. I have a 60 round trip to work 5 days a week and I am hoping to cut my fuel cost by $200-$250 a month.

Ha! My first few tanks provided the best mileage. Tanks 3, 4, 5 all netted above 100 MPG. Driving more aggressively after I gained confidence drove mileage numbers down. Now I'm taking it easy to get my numbers back up.jlhog wrote: I think this will continue to climb into the low 90's after break in.

Our numbers have stayed between 95 and 102 MPG. Can't complain about that. I do wish it had a larger gas tank though.

Re: PCX150 2013 Fuel consumption
We bought his & hers 2013 PCX 150s. After a half dozen fuel-ups, I am getting exactly 100 miles per gallon. My wife is getting between 107 and 108 miles per gallon. I outweigh her by a pound or 50; most of our riding is side-by-side. Obviously, the weight makes a difference. The worst mileage I recorded was 98 miles per gallon, with some runs above 60 mph on that tank. The best my wife has recorded was 113 miles per gallon, with some lengthy in-town driving, mostly 35 mph or less.
We aren't blasting away from stoplights. We've both been riding motorcycles for over 40 years and enjoy the acceleration and curves, so we aren't "babying" the bikes, either.
These may be the first vehicles of any kind that get what the manufacturer suggests for mileage.

I only get 90-95 and I am ok with that. I gotta do better when I fill it up as I spill gas almost everytime.
