So hopefully I'm under the correct assumption that the Kappa top cases are compatible with Givi mounts, Monolock in this case. So as long as the mount/case are both Monolock or both Monokey, they're compatible across Givi and Kappa. Correct me if I'm wrong here.
That said, is anyone here using a Kappa case? If so, can you comment on it's quality and compatibility with Givi? There are no dealers near me and looking at product photos on the inner webs isn't very helpful.
I currently have a Givi E30 case and sometimes have the need for larger capacity. I've been looking at either the K35 or K37 cases, leaning more towards the latter for the extra capacity.
Kappa top cases???

As far as I know, they're compatible. Kappa and Givi are sister companies. Quality, on the lower end products, is similar. Perhaps a bit better on the Givi products as you climb up the product range ladder.

Re: Kappa top cases???
Just make sure you use the same kind of locking mechanism/plate and you'll be safe. A Kappa (Monolock) top box will fit a Givi (Monolock) plate. However, a Monolock plate and a Monokey box won't fit (Kappa or Givi) and vice-versa.
Givi top boxes look a little more refined than Kappa.

I have learned from my mistakes, and I am sure I can repeat them exactly.

Yep...can confirm it is just fine, bought a second hand Kappa K35 Monolock Top Box (looks very similar to the Givi E370) which works fine in conjunction with the Givi E231 fitting kit for the PCX.
