Service done.

I did my service at the weekend and used Castrol 4t power 1 oil. It claims it gives you better acceleration and I can say it does seen a bit more responsive. Whether this is just the placebo effect or it was just benefiting from fresh oil I don't know. It it fully synthetic though, the last oil change was done with semi synthetic at the honda dealer.
Anybody else tried this brand and what did you think?

I have been using Castrol Edge synthetic and Shell Rotella 5-W40 for a few years now in my 1986 Honda CH-250 with great results.

I just performed my post break-in oil change (560 miles) over the weekend and used Castrol Edge 5-W30.

I use castrol edge professional 0w30 at my work for petrol engines and magnatec low ash for diesels.
I saw the 4T in a supermarket on offer so I bought it. It's designed for 4 stroke scooters/bikes. The 0w30 I thought was a bit thin for the bike but it probably would be ok.

Which supermarket pray tell?
I'm needing to do mine soon and I like a good bargain.

It was tesco. It was in the bargain bin with the yellow stickers. It was maybe an end of line item as it was only £6.
If you try and get a litre of castrol edge in a fuel station they rim you for £18.

My local one might not have it then. :(
I've found a PCX service kit which includes this oil, NGK sparkplug, genuine Honda airfilter, strainer and drain plug seals for £24 inc del on fleabay. :)

I saw that. Probably will get that the next time as it will need a filter and plug next service. Don't know if its a deal though as I haven't priced the stuff locally.
