Hi
Well I passed my mod 2 a couple of weeks back on an Kawasaki er6n and after a period of restraint decided to go for a used low mileage Yamaha XJ6 to continue my biking experience.
I will be test riding one on Monday (already put down a refundable deposit) and if I like it the PCX will be px'd. I will certainly missed the storage and MPG of the PCX but the stability and power of the "entry level big" bikes is calling me.
I will certainly be lurking on this site as it has provided many a laugh alongside serious advice and help, so keep up the good work.
I will at some point be placing a Givi windscreen, service manual and Givi T455 bag (unless it attaches ok to the rear of my next bike) on that auction site. If any active member is interested in the first two items they can be had first PM'd first served basis at £25 plus postage or collected.
It's been a good 1,900 miles

Hi,
Where does one get a service manual?
I don't need anything else for the bike but that would handy!

The dealer should be able to get one for ya, or get one online from helminc.com

It was no contest really. the XJ6 is easy to ride, comfortable and very fast even though I didn't rev it above 7k. Poodled around at city speed smoothly giving a good view of the road ahead and pulls away nice in the top gears.WhiteNoise wrote:brains_t sounds like you made up your mind already. Byebye PCX, heh?
