I will not take your bait. This is a forum about the Honda PCX. I will not respond to off-topic mentions of the President of the United States, or his family.kramnala58 wrote:

End of story.
Re: Dog thread!
In case it had slipped your notice this bit of the forum is for non-PCX stuff and you have already responded.
Plonker.

Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong
Re: Dog thread!
The Obamas have a black and white dog that does look similar to the last pic. Whats the bait? Good post Kramnala58, I get it!

Not everyone, I think someone took it wrong. I'm glad you apologized without even being asked, kramnala58.

Re: Dog thread!
Now THIS is what I'm talkin' about !! The hubby and I have had 4 dogs, with the current being Kati, Kati Jo, Boo Girl, and a thousand other names bestowed upon her. she is a 5 1/2 year old movie star that get's questioned all the time, "what kind of dog is that" ?? We rescued her August 2008. But then, as the saying goes, who rescued who? She's pointer / lab and about 52 lbs. She has more groundhog kills than I do! Has gotten snakes, chipmunks, and treed a stray cat that was not thinking when it ventured into Kati's yard. She camps and condo'ed for 6 weeks in Fla last winter. The hubby taught her to trot next to his bike while on the leash in the campgrounds last winter. No scooter riding for her (yet). Some Boo Girl pics below. ScooterKim

More of Maddie? Ok!
Here's her siblings again first. Moose the beastiecat on her "docking station":
Sophie the scaredy dog, with her usual "HUMAN, I AM UNSURE OF YOUR INTENTIONS!" look:
Ok, now more Maddie. Car ride? I LOVE CAR RIDES!
Aquadog mode, ACTIVATE!
She looks dignified, even when wet.
OMG A KID I LOVE TO CHASE THOSE!
AAAH NOW HE'S CHASING ME! TURBODOG MODE ACTIVATE!
Maddiedog, pure badass since 2008. She's born to be mild, a total hit on the local scooter scene.
We went to Coco Beach for the rally there earlier this year, it was lots of fun. Maddie helped pack: We met some other PCX riders too: A nice lady took a pic of us on the Silverwing: We got to lounge by the pool too: Going home was sad though. Dave's friend Freeman was angry at the rain gods, they did not have mercy on us for the 500+ mile trip home:
Maddie likes to climb mountains too, the next two are somewhere in North GA:

I don't know as my boy will be scootin' anytime soon. He is a good sized dog at a bit under 60 pounds, but he stands very tall. While he looks (and sounds) terrifying, especially to uniform guys like mailmen and UPS drivers, he is actually pretty timid.
Here is Rusty:

On my scoot, getting there is WAY more than half the fun!

Re: Dog thread!
Rusty is a rescue from Puerto Rico, and so is what they call a Sato. He is HUGE by Puerto Rico standards. We figure he is a cross between a greyhound and a Belgian Malinois - he has both physical and emotional characteristics of both breeds. I think he looks great, and really should be a real breed. Maybe "Greylinois". Of something. Can't be worse than the assorted "dooddles" and "be-bulls" in the mall pet stores these days.
As proof that he could be a breed, here are a couple of pics of Rusty and his sister when they were puppies in PR.
As I'm sure you noticed, while I was messing with his picture, I couldn't resist putting him into my helmet and using him as an avatar. Clearly the work of GIMP, or I would not be able to type due to the bleeding stubs of arms I would have if I actually tried to get him into the helmet.

I really like this one because he didn't want to lay with them but he still did and it almost looks like he is protective in this picture

Re: Dog thread!
How have I only just noticed the dog thread? Have to post a pic of mine, daft chocolate lab called Lola, never been interested in the scooter unfortunately!
