With some of the posts lately bringing up the 297cc Forza, I thought I would follow up with my Honda dealer and see when it would be available to the dealers here in the US.
BTW - I had heard originally it was going to be available in July in the US.
HOWEVER, my dealer said "no way by July". They haven't even got their order info for them yet and he said once that happens it would be 2 months after that before he would get any. So his best case would be late August or September.

Is it accurate that the Forza will only come in the red, or are other colors available?
The previous model Forza 250 achieved a real world average of 3.56l/100km, 79mpg, 66mpgUS (Linky) so the redesigned one with a more efficient engine should do better.
Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong
"With plenty of power to carry you and a passenger too, the Forza features liquid cooling and Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI) for great performance. Plus Forza gets an estimated 68 MPG*!"
*Honda's fuel economy estimates are based on EPA exhaust emission measurement test procedures and are intended for comparison purposes only. Your actual mileage will vary depending on how you ride, how you maintain your vehicle, weather, road conditions, tire pressure, installation of accessories, cargo, rider and passenger weight, and other factors.

A bit off-topic, but what do you think of the Grom? Looks like fun to me, it has supposedly more top speed and efficiency than the PCX.

Probably looks about as much fun as a circus bear on a bike.
I don't know about you, but a lot of Americans like myself do not proportionally fit on these smaller bikes as an Asian or European would. Fun? Maybe. Practical?
I'm 5'10" and would probably fit fine. Sure I'd look silly on something that small, but I wouldn't care about looks as long as it was comfortable.
I like smaller bikes, they're easier to toss around and just have fun on. If I got a Grom, it would just be for silliness and the occasional 1-up trip.
Does anyone know if the Forza seat hump can be removed for tall riders? I got a dealer to remove the hump on a kymco downtown 300i and it was still comfy and I could sit further back so knees didn't hit handlebars or dash!
Don't know about the Forza hump, but - - -
Comparing prices in the USA, and considering as an urban commuter who actually never really needs to exceed 60 miles per hour:
Summary first:
Yes, I would love a Forza if someone else gave me the extra $2,100 to $2,600 (depending on ABS option).
I paid cash for my PCX, and that is all I could afford, and the PCX top speed is all I need.
But sure, the Forza would be cool. So would a larger motorcycle. So would a Harley.
Here are some current U.S. price comparisons, considering the Forza prices are suggested and likely:
Honda:
PCX 150 USA model
$3,449
FORZA
$5,599 no ABS
$6,099 with ABS
Comparison example:
Kymco:
150 Movie (more step-through than PCX)
Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price $3,199.00
300i Downtown (looks like a Forza)
Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price $5,599
Current sale Price $5,399
In summary, knowing what I know now about prices and my needs, the Honda PCX is perfect for me, unless anyone on this forum would care to kick in the extra money.
Even Kymco only gives a very modest cost saving - not all that much.
