Guessed wrong, okay. So Really black in demand? I thought it to be the Red. Ah, but what do I know Red would have been my second choice. A fine color it is!

^ ^ Agree!
Is the green Really a green color? Or a bluish? Doubt we'll ever see that in the states anyway. gn2 loves that color

Saw one of the greeney-bluey ones recently, its like grey with a bit of a tint.
Not impressed.
Red or white are the ones to go for imo.

What colour was Street Hawk? Black.. Therefore black is the ONLY colour for a bike..

Re: Hello! first time poster long time lurker!
I love the bike, apart from the hump! do need to buy a new seat. not far off its first service. strange thing happened the other day I was coming down the hill on the lane and almost came to a stop while a car came past I then released the brake and rolled down but it was as if the bike was in neutral and picked up some speed, applied a touch of throttle and it lurched back into gear. is this just how the gearbox works? I didnt think it disengaged drive
Re: Hello! first time poster long time lurker!
You can read about the lurch that all belt driven scooters do here:

No gearbox by the way!

Getting near my 600 mile service, every bike shop I have phoned has next 3 weeks booked up. Should I change the oil myself?

Sure, there is even a thread on how to do it on this forum. Check out the "How to" area.
Re: Hello! first time poster long time lurker!
If you ever changed oil on a car or motorcycle, this is much easier.Tom192 wrote:Getting near my 600 mile service, every bike shop I have phoned has next 3 weeks booked up. Should I change the oil myself?

Re: Hello! first time poster long time lurker!
Do they do anything else at first service I wasn't going to bother getting valves done this time even if I could of got it into the honda main dealer.
Re: Hello! first time poster long time lurker!
First service involves the final stage of manufacturing quality control, everything on the scooter is supposed to be checked thoroughly for security and correct adjustment/operation.
It is probably the most important service your scooter will ever have.
