Re: Newby
I thought they were Thai based. I was looking at a seat from there a while back and the vat and duty basically nearly doubled the price.
The hump on my seat was waterlogged so I removed it and dried it out but you need a decent staple gun to refit it properly after.
Trying to find a uk based supplier is very hard, most seem to be abroad.

Re: Newby
Haha nope sorry I thought they were local to the UK but my mistake. I can assure you I am based in the US and not associated with bikerbits otherwise I would have not bought my new AWESOME seat from Poweredbypcx
Sorry for the noise on the board was trying to be helpful.

Re: Newby
We purchased our seat from Powerbypcx also. Before we did we checked with a local shop which affirmed that they could not do what those folks were doing to the seats because Powerbypcx has 2 different seat forms. The one we purchased, like tedscoot, eliminates the underseat storage for the helmet. We therefore ordered a tailbox when we ordered the seat. There is a hook on the left side at the base of the seat for helmets but that is not good if it rains a lot. As you can see from ours, getting a little Givi E300 works out well and is not oversized, so consider getting one of those if you don't want it to look too bulky.
Currently own:
Red 2013 Honda PCX150
Givi tall windshield & tailbox - Lots of extra lights
Custom seat from Thailand - Bad Boy Airhorn
Takegawa Lowering Shocks - Michelin City Grip Tires
Headlight assy upgraded to LEDs w/HS5 main bulbs
NCY variator, drive face, and rollers

That looks mighty fine Mel. I hope that seat is as comfy as it looks.
