For the record: valves intake and exhaust where slightly tight at 3500 miles. I adjusted them to exactly within spec. Valves at 7500 miles had not moved. No adjustment necessary.
I never did a 600 mile adjustment. Engine sounded fine to me. In retrospect I wish I did, at least take photos as I will point out here what certain things looked like at 3500 miles. I wonder if it was factory manufacturer design, or something else.
I'm about to hit 8000 miles. And will be dumping the 2500 mile OCI of Amsoil 10w30 motorcycle oil for Red Line 10w30 motorcycle oil. I plan on running that for 2000 miles, as a local store to me just opened and they have fantastic prices on Red Line products, and 2000 miles is about what I estimate before I store the scooter for winter.
And the pictures, lets start with the ones that had me concerned the most.
