Saw it on the kickstarter website at the time but haven't seen one yet. Looks quite good though.

If you want a sensible answer to something best not ask on a Sunday night. I think the communion wine might have something to do with it.

Pebble? Pardon my ignorance ... but I assume from my ignorance that my answer would be 'no '.Anfield800 wrote:Ordered a Pebble last year, just got the email telling me its on the way. Does anyone have one?

I have a proper analogue pocket watch because I hate wrist watches.

Re: Pebble watch
My friend Bryan just got his in last week, it's a really cool little device. He is already messing around with the SDK to program it to do all sorts of things. At the moment, he uses it a lot for reading email and getting notifications. He gets 2-3 days battery life out of it.
Supposedly Qualcomm is releasing a new firmware for the bluetooth chip that should boost battery life quite a bit.

Clive Sinclair would be proud
Re: Pebble watch
My wrist watch sometimes gets stuck in my motorbike jacket inner lining which then turns into a dance routine to get the jacket off!

Re: Pebble watch
Wrist Watches drive me crazy, plus, since I always wear a Motorcycle Jacket, the issue Taz described....if my Scooter doesn't come with a clock, I always mount a Formotion Water-proof, Shock-Proof Clock on Them. Mine is about 8 years old, and has set out in rain storms, snow, etc. without any issues. Never replaced the battery until about 2 months ago. I bought my Wife a New One for Her PCX150....Great Clocks, and well worth the "kinda' pricey" Price Tag. They're cheaper now than when I bought my original. MSRP has dropped from $69.95 to $39.95 in that time.....

Ridin' and Socializin' the Southeastern USA on a 2014 Honda FORZA 300 Scooter...45+ years of Riding averaging 30,000 miles per year...!!!

Re: Pebble watch
To me the Pebble Watch seems pricey and might pose a bit of a distraction while on a motorcycle or scooter. I think a simple watch either by Formotion or Clock4bikes might be the way I'll go. In our gadget world we are trying to add more and more gadgets to our bikers/scooters that it seems to take away from being carefree. If I wanted all these gadgets I would just stay in my car. Don't get me wrong it does look like a cool watch, but for me my smart phone is fine for me.

Re: Pebble watch
Yeah, I posted this in off-topic as its nothing to do with my PCX. That said, I've seen a mount for £5 that will put the watch on my bars and give me the time. No need for anything else.
Got a shipped email today, expecting it in about two weeks. I'm a geek, and I love it.
