Re: Airfilter Snorkel
Rubbish!!
For less than $1500 Pcx can be made to go as fast as a 300cc let alone 250.....Fuel consumption is no worse than 3L/100km hardly to cry about. After 10000km still going strong with all the mods done.
Now try using that $1500 and trade you Pcx and see what it will get you in the 250-300cc world, wishful thinking...
Re: Airfilter Snorkel
Sym GTS 250 with low miles sell for about £800 here.
My PCX is worth circa £500 so an upgrade to a far more comfortable scooter in better condition with lower mileage with more than double the power would cost me just £300 or less with a bit of haggling.
We won't even do the performance discussion.
Have a look in the performance section of this forum, you will see there is only one sticky.
See if you can guess why that is.

Re: Airfilter Snorkel
Of course its shabby, I don't dispute that, but the maintenance has been done to the published schedule.

I wouldn't buy a bike unseen, as I suspect you wouldn't
Take some snaps that you would like to see if you were buying it yourself and pm them?
Are there any oil leaks from other areas of the crankcase?
Re: Airfilter Snorkel
I'll probably be trading it in, any pictures will just show a bog standard PCX with some rusty bolts and side stand with a missing centrestand.
The biggest thing I ever bought without seeing it first was a house.
