Re: Poll: Are you a leg over person?
If I were to cross dress and wear a dress or a skirt, then I would certainly get on girly style.
When my wife mounts the PCX, either as a passenger or as the rider, she is so cute that she makes me forget where she swings her leg.
I will only mount girly style, however, if I were to go out wearing my wife's dress or skirt.

To all the pretenders here...accept the fact that you're riding a SCOOTER, not a bike. Stepping through is one of the great advantages of the design, so make the most of it

If the seat hinged sideways the gap could be filled in with a much bigger fuel tank...

That's what I do too--for cars and bikes. Angle enough so I don't see the vehicle at all. Problem is that I have wide shoulders and the mirror stalk simply isn't long enough. Had the same problem with my wife's Sportster (and other bikes), too. Not too big a problem as mirrors are just for a quick glace as the head swivels to look over the shoulder.dustin91 wrote:Bash, on the mirror topic, I angle mine out more than most (I'd assume), because I want full visibility of the lane on either side of me...!

2013 PCX 150 [now an ex-bike, soon to be consigned to the bottom line of the sig]
2013 Silver Wing ABS (Black)

Too many ex-bikes to list, and, besides, who really cares what we used to own?

I'm with Skuuter on this one. Why waste a step through. And, since I'm older, it's getting a little harder to make that "leg over" move. And, doing the leg over with a top box in the way just makes a step through easier to do.skuuter wrote:gn2 wrote:Because its easier to swing a leg over and doesn't scuff the tunnel.skuuter wrote:why waste that "step-through" opening when it's provided.....![]()

Nah, I never scuff the tunnel...been doing it too long for "rookie mistakes"........GIVI Case is in the way for a "Leg Over" anyway.....

I can mount it just about any way, (and I do) with my lower tunnel and seat its a breeze
If I take my mirrors off I could even mount it from the front

Re: Poll: Are you a leg over person?
I find it easier to swing my leg over than to do a foot-through.

If you dont mind my asking, what is the total weight when you guys 2-up? I am wanting to double up with my wife, but together we would exceed the maximum weight listed in the manual.kramnala58 wrote:When the Mrs joins me, because she is shorter and can't lift her leg over the seat between me and the box, she steps on the right foot peg (close to the pinion) with her right foot, stands almost vertical, then slips her left leg between me and the box.
Thanks.

Never worn a kilt on a bike, but I did ride my LC350 to a fancy dress do in a toga once upon a time long long ago...Taz wrote:Whilst wearing a kilt?gn2 wrote:I find it easier to swing my leg over than to do a foot-through.

Ive ridden with my brother in law on the back and toolbag strapped on my rack and we were 100lb over max weight and the bike handled fine up to 45mph, slow mind you, and you want to avoid potholes.MrSuperchicken1 wrote:If you dont mind my asking, what is the total weight when you guys 2-up?
