Re: Our New PCXs
Cool! Is yours the white one or the black one?
I always wanted to get my wife a matching PCX to mine, but she doesn't ride often enough to justify the purchase.

Re: Our New PCXs
Mine is the white one. I do most of the riding anyway, usually tag teaming both scoots, she only rides 3-4 times a month(with me), never by herself, unless its to work. This is her first new one, she really wanted one. She usually just took my old ones when I moved up in size. I've been retired/disability for a few years so I have a lot more time to ride

Cool!. I presume you've ridden both of them, so can you tell differences in performance between the 2011 and the 2013?.

They're still getting broken in, hers has 250mi & mine 525, so we haven't pushed them, but there is definitely a power, speed & torque difference between the two. The fun factor is the same though!!!

I see, but so far which is one is quicker?. Theoretically, the ESP model should be quicker, but I've read some reports on the contrary.strkngfang wrote:They're still getting broken in, hers has 250mi & mine 525, so we haven't pushed them, but there is definitely a power, speed & torque difference between the two. Re: Our New PCXs
The 150 is quicker, it has an 8-10mph top end speed better than the 125 & still manages over 100 mpg. My wife has gotten 104 & 105 on her two tanks
Mine has gotten 111 & 113

Oh right. My mistake, I thought both were 125. Then it makes sense that the 150 is quicker.

Re: Our New PCXs
I wish the white was still available. I was holding out to see if it was added to the 2014 lineup...but apparently not. Don't get me wrong, the black & red models are sharp looking as well. Just something about the crispness of the white that really pops.

Re: Our New PCXs
I agree. I was set to get a red 150 to go with my wife's black, but when we got to the dealer, they had just gotten a new leftover white 2011 from another location & knew the white would sell. I had always liked the whites so the little decline in power wasn't an issue. We never ride faster than 55-60 mph anyway.

Re: Our New PCXs
Hi PCXER & DAB! Welcome! I may be late in mentioning or suggesting this, but have you done a search online for used 2011 PCX's? In the U.S. we have a website called cycletrader (and other sites too) selling 2011 Whites. I'm also thinking that there are quite a few leftovers at dealers. If you make a few phone calls to local and nearby state dealers, they may have one? Heck, you might even be able to haggle the price down between them if several of them have White Just an idea.
I know it's "just" a color choice but, I'm on board a White too, so I understand the desire to own one
Now back to shopping......Be happier, buy a PCX!
