Saddle bag preference?
Anyone out there use saddle bags, preferably soft? I'm looking at Givi T479 (US $144, http://amzn.com/B004ZP2AYK), Classic Accessories MotoGear 73707 (US $58, http://amzn.com/B000RN4FK6), and Nelson-Rigg CL-950 (US $105, http://amzn.com/B000J44710).
Just looking to see if anyone else uses storage like this. The Givi B33 trunk has already been well used, but I can see how having more storage will be helpful on weekend errands... meaning a good excuse to get out the PCX for a quick ride!
Thanks all!

Re: Saddle bag preference?
I have a tail bag/saddlebag combination that I got at Walmart. I use the tail bag all the time but so far have not used the fold-out saddlebags.

http://www.walmart.com/ip/Schwinn-Basic ... k/19593668 It was about $25 in the bicycle section. I had to add two d-ring straps to fasten it under the seat.

Re: Saddle bag preference?
I use this combination:
http://www.amazon.com/Classic-Accessori ... saddlebags
and
http://www.amazon.com/Classic-Accessori ... auto_img_y
The saddle bags work great by mounting the top straps UNDER the seat, and the top bag clips on and off the saddle bags (they're designed to work this way) for easy access to the interior trunk and for easy removal at my destination. it also provides a small backrest -- just a tad. The top bag can be taken off and stuffed into the trunk if you need to add a rider and the entire rig comes off in a couple of minutes if I needed.
Now, if I could just find a good tunnel bag for a reasonable price.

Re: Saddle bag preference?
Meissinger... one, thanks for the recommendations. I have a Givi trunk, so that's taken care of.
Two, I had ordered the *exact* saddle bags you linked to just a few hours ago! Looking to install them this weekend.
Thanks!

soft panniers are just too much fuss. Use a rucksack if you must

Re: Saddle bag preference?
Meissinger, where to you put the straps with clips? I have the wide velcro tabs under the seat, but don't know best where to put the other cords. Thanks!

Re: Saddle bag preference?
I don't think saddle bags will be great on the pcx, I use a helmet bag that can also be used as a back pack and has bungees to secure it on the back. It fits nicely. I can get the name of it if you'd like.

Re: Saddle bag preference?
I like the top back, but I'm not too sure on the design of the side saddlebags. I would prefer something from http://www.amazon.com/Nelson-Rigg-CL-95 ... saddlebags or http://www.vikingbags.com/axe-sports-bi ... lebags.htm .
Post pictures after though, Lets see how it looks.

Re: Saddle bag preference?
Boy the bicycle bag from Walmart sure looks good and the price is right. I hope they still have them. I like the idea of soft bags.
Re: Saddle bag preference?
I just got my Nelson Riggs CL-950's like Dustin got.

Re: Saddle bag preference?
Jumping in on this saddlebag discussion. How do you like the ones you use? I have another scooter that has a Shad top case but I think I like the look of the saddlebags for the PCX. I have the 2013 150 that I just picked up last week. Any input is welcome...I appreciate all your help!
