another week off, more perfectly good parts replaced.
My pile of aftermarket parts is slowly dwindling as I find the time to fit them to the pcx.(sidenote: my pile of hardly used oem parts is growing rapidly) I had fitted a very nice set of Hardy handlebars but had to remove them due to the throttle cable and brakelines clashing with bodywork, I will sort this issue out next break. Only items I have left to fit are the 260mm front rotor, malossi clutch with winged bell, Kitaco torque cam and spring. I am very impressed with the Kitaco stainless brake lines, they have made a massive difference to braking power and feel.

Difference? If you look closely the bike itself hasn't really been used

Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong

OCD is right on the money! Exhaust has made a small difference combined with quality air filter (DNA), just remember to disconnect the battery when messing with the exhaust or intake so the ECU can relearn. I chose the Kitaco exhaust as they were one of the only companies that display a dyno result. It sounds awesome and isnt overly loud like some other brands.

Only fooling, if you like the blingy bits, go for it.

All you need now is Yuminashi 31mm throttle body, injector and manifold and you would have 'second'chainsaw wrote:My pile of aftermarket parts is slowly dwindling as I find the time to fit them to the pcx.(sidenote: my pile of hardly used oem parts is growing rapidly) I had fitted a very nice set of Hardy handlebars but had to remove them due to the throttle cable and brakelines clashing with bodywork, I will sort this issue out next break.
