Best Place 4 2011 PCX 150cc After-Market Upgrades / Customs?
I just recently purchased a 2011 Honda PCX 150. It had 50 miles on it when I bought it and I'm very happy with it. I'm now looking into doing a few upgrades to it and figured you guys would know best where to get them. I already know about powerbypxc, but ordering anything from them has me concerned as they have the 2011 125cc listed, but not the 2011 150cc.
A few things I'm considering doing off the bat,
New mirrors
New front and back blinkers
Universal Power Charger
Rear Passenger Foot Pads (Is there another name for these? Tandem Steps?)
Break Clutch Levers
a bunch of other things any recommendable sites besides ebay?

Look at the vendor section of this site. I have had good luck with Bikerz Bits and saved a bit of $ too.
Someone more knowlegable can correct me here, but I dont think the 150 came out until the 2012 model year.

I don't think the 150 was made in that year either. Maybe some unscrupulous dealer rebadged a 125? I'd have to look "under the hood" and see what I just purchased.~Cheap_Ride~ wrote:Look at the vendor section of this site. I have had good luck with Bikerz Bits and saved a bit of $ too.

The reason I say that is looking at the aftermarket websites they list things as 2010 to 2011 pcx125 and 2012 to 2013 pcx 125 / 150
Perhaps the 150 didnt hit the US market until 2013?

I just looked on line and I can't find anything on a 2011 model except the 125.~Cheap_Ride~ wrote:PKrellner wrote:I don't think the 150 was made in that year either. Same here. To the OP, I would do a little research as to what you purchased and the year it was made before ordering any trinkets.

To put my 2 cents worth in there, I know that 2013 was the first year the 150 hit the USA, and when we purchased ours we looked online at places like powerbypcx.com and they also mentioned that it came out in 2013 over there in Thailand, and that is where they are manufactured. Soooo....if you got a REAL 2011 PCX 150, I would have to ask HOW???
Currently own:
Red 2013 Honda PCX150
Givi tall windshield & tailbox - Lots of extra lights
Custom seat from Thailand - Bad Boy Airhorn
Takegawa Lowering Shocks - Michelin City Grip Tires

NCY variator, drive face, and rollers

Can't you find this info by looking up vin number?

My VIN plate has the MFG year right on it. 2013
Re: Best Place 4 2011 PCX 150cc After-Market Upgrades / Cust
I thought when I looked under the scooter at the back end of the crankcase it was stamped with 153cc. Maybe I was looking at something else under there, it was when I checked my center stand to see how it was attached.

Start at the end of your VIN and count back 8 letters and or numbers, it will be a letter, A=2010, B=2011, C=2012, D=2013.

Re: Best Place 4 2011 PCX 150cc After-Market Upgrades / Cust
Honda skipped the 2012 model year with the pcx in the us market to give the 2013 150 an early introduction. So for the us there are the 2011 pcx 125 (badged simply as pcx) and the 2013 pcx 150 badged as a pcx 150
