It gets parked on the road and I've had four notifiable incidents in the last five years.

For the 2014 Forza, I pay $139 a year through Geico. Mind you, I've been riding motorcycles for 20 years and have multiple discounts (MSF, MVD, etc...)

What kind of coverage do you have? I'm with Geico, also, and I paid $576.59 for a year. I've also been riding for a long time (30+) years and have no accident/ticket history in the last 20. I have full coverage with the lowest deductibles they offer.geotreker wrote:For the 2014 Forza, I pay $139 a year through Geico. Re: How Much is the Forza insurance cost for per year?
I registered due to interest of the Forza. Not an owner (yet).
But for the MS owner, I'm next door in AL, I get the best rates between Progressive or Markel.
Even with 2 tickets in past 3 years, Progressive was $174/yr on my cruiser. $165/yr on my Burgman 650.
Rates about the same with Markel. +/- $20.00

I've had my Forza for a week now...yes it is red...and insurance with Progressive is $94/yr full coverage. One ticket still showing.
Khan, I would suggest to shop around. Sounds like you are getting ripped, unless it is something to do with the area you are in.
Could it be since you are near the coast and a hurricane threat?

My pcx insurance with progressive is 50 a month full coverage. No accidents. But one year of experience and 18 years old. When will it begin to get cheaperwillajabir wrote:I've had my Forza for a week now...yes it is red...and insurance with Progressive is $94/yr full coverage. One ticket still showing.

Re: How Much is the Forza insurance cost for per year?
Did you take the MSF course? If so, did you get the discount? Do you have any traffic tickets in the last 3 years? (I guess that means since you have been driving, at your age).logepoge1 wrote: My pcx insurance with progressive is 50 a month full coverage. No accidents. Also, when you renew your insurance next year, it should drop if you have no new claims and your driving record is clean also.
You might also call and ask an agent if there is anything you can do to reduce the premium. If you ask, they will tell you if something is available, but they don't volunteer it.
Markel may(or may not) be cheaper for you in the Bayou. Shopping around and asking extra questions can help.
The one thing you can't change is the fact you are a teen, and rates will be higher for you because of how the age group behaves, not you as an individual.
edit: I just noticed you drive a Mustang also. Insured through the same company? Get multiple vehicle discount. You did get an older one, but it still screams "show off" to the insurance.

No not same insurance company. Get better deal through progressive. But our house, a truck, my moms car, and my car are all on the same insurance policy. We pay 250 a quarter for my car to have liability. They told us it doesn't matter what I drive at my age it will still be the same price. I believe that is farm bureau. It was only 80 a quarter but then they found out I'm the primary driver

Any clue if progressive has a college student discount? Have a 3.5 GPa which helped with the car insurance

A teen listed as primary driver while living with parents? That is asking the agent to take your money!!!
What about driver ed discount? You really need to sit down and talk quietly with an agent about how to help. If you don't ask, they won't tell you anything.

Re: How Much is the Forza insurance cost for per year?
Forza300 insurance in UK.
Any comment /advice from Forza300 UK members?
Insured fully comp with Carol Nash. 70 yrs of age....6 yrs no claim..garaged..5/6000mls per year..£156 including home and roadside recovery/repair ( covers Europe although I dont need that)
Marginal increase from last year...and reducing to TPFT makes little differance.
Search engines dont seem to offer anything better.
