Club PCX banned me. How about you?

I guess it was because I agreed with what maddiedog had to say about their professionalism, and the fact that I moved my How-To threads over here. I went on their site and ALL of my posts have been deleted.... Dave - yours are still there somehow.. I thought you were banned too?

I will NEVER support or respect Corsport or anyone affiliated with the company. Their recent action against me for being an active member of two PCX forums is a little ridiculous, child-like, and completely unprofessional. I never attacked them in any way, and was considering buying a Jcosta from them... but will take my business elsewhere.

Thank you Dave (maddiedog) for making a fresh site where we can hang. I'm looking forward to being able to deal with an administrator who will always act in a professional, courteous manner. I wont stop promoting your site until we get to number 1 in google search results! Let me know if there is anything I can do to help you out!

hmm im not banned. I tried to stay out of arguments though and just made light of the situation by taking the piss with funny pictures. Like this one:

If they do end up banning me just for posting on here aswell, then id rather not be on there anyway. But so far so good.

Aw man, I'm sorry Eddie. I wasn't trying to get anyone banned. I wasn't even trying to get myself banned, but I figured it would happen.

I don't even understand the reasoning for banning you -- I just asked you permission to copy your how-tos over, and you were gracious enough to just post them for me.

They left all my posts probably because most of them answered questions. If they deleted all my posts, the page ranking of the forum would drop like a bag of hammers. It looks like they deleted my posts in the K&N thread, and my how-tos linking to here though. They weren't quite bright enough to clear my signature with a link to here. Sweet.

I'm not banned even though I posted this forums address and put "by the people for the people" as well. It got deleted though. I suppose you can ban everybody, there wont be anyone left. Will probably get now though. Did gn2 get chucked off as I haven't heard from him for a while?

Having a forum for PCX enthusiasts without a commercial sponsor or interests is a huge plus.

It's a shame it came to this, everyone has a part to play in a successful forum.

its alright dave! I just found it really funny that I got banned. It just confirms my suspicions about the types of characters that run corsport and clubpcx. Granted, I would LIKE to be a member of both boards, but if I had to pick one, this would be it! I never tried to get in the middle of anyones business, but I guess I got banned for having an opinion. And yes dave, without your 1000 posts on clubpcx, the forum wouldn't read well at all =] I guess I thought my 90 posts were valuable too =]

Maybe I'll try writing to them when I calm down asking them for a reason for banning me... I've been members of MANY forums, and have never seen one act like this...l

I hope they listen when you write to them after they cool off. I don't expect or want anyone to abandon ClubPCX, I just wanted to offer a more friendly alternative. I actually wasn't planning on leaving clubpcx, but they didn't really leave me any choice.

exactly... i'm going to see if I miss it, and will decide if its worth my time to even try talking to them. After they acted like this, do I really want to be a part of their community? We shall see. Right now, i'm rebounding... thanks hondapcx.org for being there for me!

They banned EddieC too though, and he didn't do anything at all. He contributed a lot to the forum, with the oil change and valve adjustment howtos...

That's all the more reason I'm glad I made this site. Unpredictable, emotional people shouldn't be placed in charge of a forum.

You had him come over to our forum, edit all the how to's and remove the text to them, and link them to your site to get them...

You keep on believing there is no reason why you and eddie were banned and keep feeding your users your skewed sense of reality.

No one has been banned that hasn't come over to our forum and acted like a 5 year old. You feeding this drama is getting tiring but not tiring enough that if you continue to feed it so will I.

I didn't ask EddieC to remove anything from ClubPCX, just to mirror it here. Banning him was unfair.

I won't censor you if you really want to be heard, but I don't think you posting in here will get anyone anywhere. Nor will accusing anyone of "acting like a 5 year old," especially when we are talking like rational adults.

I don't understand you accusing me of feeding drama either. You are the one perpetuating this; I'm not even sure what your aim in posting here is other than to stab at me.

WhiteNoise here......been holding off awhile from joining. Wanted to see where all this was going. I didn't even see this coming Dave. Truly, I've had no problems over at ClubPCX, but I do feel a bit of a distance between the administrator(s?) and members, as they rarely pop in on topics (in comparison to other forums I belong to). Feel bad that so much was put into the "Club" by so many of us, and now we're starting over. Life goes on....let's see where
