My homemade handguards
My homemade handguards. (5th pic)
Willa's Forza Pics
I used the link to view full size rather than smaller pics.
Made from 8"X12" Lexan with a heatgun and a flat bar to bend around. Not perfect, but decent for 1st attempt.
These do more for me when 30-40 degrees F than using the handlebar mitts.
I still use the mitts below freezing, but put them on behind these guards.
Still working on leg guards....working on version 2.0 since version 1.0 interfered with brake handle.

If you hover your mouse over the second line of the original post, you'll see that its a tinyurl link.
Its one of the quirks of this theme that text hyperlinks do not appear in a different colour by default.

Ok, I got it. They look great! I love the fact that we can bend this stuff and make what we want, but I hadn't thought about making hand guards from it. Great idea. Thanks for the pictures.

Re: My homemade handguards
I tried the img link and an error message said the image was too large. I didn't want to resize it at the time, I just put the link.
I didn't think about linking to one of the thumbnails at the time.
Thanks.
