Merry Christmas to you all from grandchild #1 who is just one and a half weeks old in this pic. He is the best gift we will receive this Christmas. He arrived just two hours after we got back to the US for our annual trip home .... perfect timing!

Congrats! Our 8th grandchild was born in October. Six of the grand children were from 1 of our daughters...all boys. The last 2 were from one of our daughter-in-laws. Unfortunately, the 6 boys live across the country from us so we can't see them very often. Fortunately, the last 2 grandchildren are about a mile away. Enjoy them while you can. They grow up fast.

Ya, it was pretty hard not to sneak him into the suitcase. One of the challenges of living overseas is the constant goodbyes. But one of the good parts of it is that for every goodbye, there is also a hello. We try to make the best of it.
