Wow, quite the prices there... I recently had my 8000 km (5000 miles) service done at an official Honda dealer, they charged me 127 Euro for an oil change, valve clearance check, spark plug replacement and general check-up (first service since I bought the bike). I think I'll stick with this dealer...logepoge1 wrote:Our dealer here, McKinney honda of ruston, is just an extreme ripoff. Wanted to charge me 75 for an oil change: "If all you want is an oil change, its 1/2 hr labor, $37.50 + parts + tax=about $75, if you want the 600 mile service, there is more to it and its different for each individual bike. $100 + or - some means around $100. I'm thinking about $107 or so with tax. " and also there is "Our labor rate is $75 and hour. The flat rate for tire change on the unit for that unit is, front .75 of an hour, rear .9 of an hour. That is 1.65 hours at $75 an hour, then tax is added to total around $150, on the unit. If you want to bring just the rims and tires, we do it for $30 each + tax. That is going by our flat rate through Honda and our labor per hour. "
