Do you think they might come to the states in 2014?

Re: Latest PCX
Need to sell my PCX asap now as this is going to devalue mine so much, worth it just for the new dash and im sure the center stand wont snap off either.

Won't make a whole lot of difference to your resale value.
A used one isn't worth much to start with.

@ GN2
Is this (2014 revision) "a significant change" or not?

No ABS, bugger.

Well I suppose that depends on your opinion.khaosaming wrote:@ GN2

There's a few good and worthwhile changes, bodywork, seat, clock, fuel capacity but nothing really major like ABS bigger engine or revised suspension.
I would contend that the introduction of the eSP 150 was a bigger change than this.
Put another way, yes I was wrong.

Capacity down to 149 cc but now has 4-valve head.
Interestingly this didn't surface here until earlier this week when a couple of expats were complaining about the lack of PCX 150's available at certain dealerships.

Wow never knew that there's PCX with 149cc capacity and 4-valve head, even the new PCX 150 still have 153cc capacity and 4 stroke 2 valve engine....waspmike wrote:Capacity down to 149 cc but now has 4-valve head.

By the look of the pics I doubt the seats will be interchangeable.
According to ScooterStation it still has a two-valve head.

Re: Latest PCX
God, I hope these are released in the US this spring...and in WHITE! That'd be just perfect timing for me, as I was planning to finally buy a PCX this year. ;-)

Re: Latest PCX
Hey Thanks WN. The UK website lists the color choices as red or a metallic grey over there for the 2014 models. But i think the US choices are always different from the UK ones right?....so yeah, hopefully White will be one of the choices here in the states. <crossing fingers> I just think it looks the best IMHO. But the black or red is nice too, so if White wasn't a choice, I'd be fine. Just as long as they don't do that two tone red & white combo over here. Blah. Not a fan of that look. Lol.
I read somewhere that they were going to be 149cc instead of 150cc...um...stupid question, but that isnt going to make them illegal to ride on highways here right?

It would be interesting to know the source of these rumours. All evidence so far points to the contrary.

Re: Latest PCX
Maybe something got lost in the Vietnamese translation. I would assume the 150 will still be a 150 here in the states.

post #17 specs are at the lower right. It says PGM-Fi 4 valve SOHC la.la.la.
This is what the third engine in 6 years? PCX is getting like the iPhone of scooters?

^ I'll recheck the translation with another person. Agreed the first guy could have been nonmechanical and/or a wishful thinker.
Re: Latest PCX
I have to eat some humble pie. Another guy says it says 4 stroke not 4 valve. So it is the same as before.waspmike wrote:^ I'll recheck the translation with another person. Agreed the first guy could have been non mechanical and/or a wishful thinker.
