Hello,
I would like to make my brakes stiffer. They were pretty stiff right after regular service, but now, 1000 km later I feel that levers are softer (I have to push more to get the same braking force). Is there any guide on how to set up brakes correctly? I think the rear brake is being set by screw at the rear wheel, but I am have no knowledge about the front brake.

Re: How to make brakes stiffer?
find a youtube video on bleeding the brakelines, its not too hard or change the brakelines to braided ones. I have used the Kitaco ones and it makes a huge difference

The combi brake cable can be adjusted as well at the brake cylinder under the font plastics.

Re: How to make brakes stiffer?
The rear drum line loosens after a few thousand miles, that's likely what you're feeling.
Put the PCX on its centerstand. Spin the rear wheel by hand. Tighten the nut on the brake drum on the left side of the bike, just to the bottom-left of the rear wheel. Tighten until there is any extra resistance when you spin the rear wheel by hand, then back it out a notch. That should help tighten up the rear.

Re: How to make brakes stiffer?
Thank you for your advices.
maddiedog: I will try that
chainsaw: I thought about links for brake setting in general. Reinforced brake hoses are interesting, but I don't feel like I need them. I was satisfied with brake stiffness when bike came from service, I would like to get back to that stifness by myself. I shouldn't need tuning parts for that. I just want to adjust front brake to be more "sharp".
