Re: First Service
If you wish to retain the Honda Warranty, then that is the given service interval - 2500 the next and then every 2500.

Re: First Service
Here is the official maintenance schedule. You have to send your bike for service to official Honda certified service if you don't want to lose warranty.

I don't think it always needs to be an official dealer, dependant on the country.
Re: First Service
Not a dealer, "certified service". Here in Slovakia we have different companies doing service for Hondas and they are certified, so warranty goes on. I didn't mention dealers only

Fair enough. Things seem to vary from country to country

Re: First Service
Yes. You need an initial oil change and valve check at 600 miles. A few people have waited until 800 or so, but you really should adhere to the first couple of intervals while the engine is getting broken in. My valves were out of adjustment and my oil had a little bit of tiny metal flakes (almost like glitter, only smaller) and gasket bits in it on the first change.bobontour wrote:Hi When i bought my PCX i was told i should have my 1st service after 600 miles, is this about the right milage?
