This is my first post.
I have a 2013 Honda PCX 150 that I bought last spring, and I have really enjoyed riding it. I have never had a scooter, motorcycle of any kind before.
It has been in storage for the winter, but my car broke down and it is now being called back into duty.
I wanted to change the oil, and called the dealer to see how much they would charge...initially I was told $50. I told the guy that I can have my car's oil changed for $20 less than that. He says it is different industries.....ummmmm, different in that my car requires 5 quarts of oil vs less than 1, and a new oil filter vs none. Then he finds his price sheet and says that is acutally $30. I still feel that this is a rip off.
My question is this: can anyone walk me through a basic oil change? what tools are needed? is it easy enough for a novice shade tree mechanic to pull off?
Thanks in advance for you help....I searched all over the forum and could not find a post explaining how to do the oil change.
