Rear fender removal
Hey everyone, I was looking around for a rear fender removal thread and couldn't find one. Does anyone have some info regarding the rear lighting kits? I found some on the World Wide Web like this:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/HONDA-PCX-125-1 ... 1141818344
Ideally I want to remove the fender, license plate holder, and turn signals. I wanted to install some flush mount turn signals similar to maddiedog (sorry to be similar, but it looks so clean) and deal with the LP mounting somehow.
I'm just unsure if there are some hidden clips or brackets that need to be addressed before removal or I ruin it forever...

Re: Rear fender removal
you will need to remove pretty much all the rear bodywork, seat included. not hard but a bit fiddly and time consuming.

Re: Rear fender removal
Thanks chainsaw and mike, I think I can handle all the disassembly to get to the fender removal.
Since the US pcx is the only bike with these protruding blinkers (or winkers) is it possible to get the EU model rear end?
Also in this link.... is this the EU rear end or is it some other set up?

Thanks

Re: Rear fender removal
This seems to be a cover tailored to the EU rear end, indeed. In the stock EU setup, these covers are black plasticJoemag22 wrote:Also in this link.... is this the EU rear end or is it some other set up?

Re: Rear fender removal
I really like the look of the EU set up. Are these rear fenders interchangeable? Or are the connections different?

Re: Rear fender removal
You gotta buy new rear tail light left and right. New rear fender. And new front body panel to get rid of front rabbet ears.
