From where? I use to live in Mobile, and the winter cold there is a damp cold, which makes it bad to ride in. When I lived in New Orleans I sometimes rode my motorcycle up to Atlanta, Georgia in the winter. When I reached Mobile the damp wind would cut right through me. I can't imagine riding a little pcx that far in the winter.

Do you have your route planned and are you going to post it here so you can see your fellow PCXers along the way?

I want to get into scooter camping. I have a lightweight eno hammock that takes no time at all to pitch and is comfortable to sleep in

I hope you don't have the original seat on your PCX. It will get very uncomfortable. I put a custom seat on mine and my wife's and we find that we can ride longer and feel less stressed. I also hope you have figured out where to get new tires and service. I found that many places don't have the specific size tires the PCX uses. A rear tire will last about 8,000 miles. A front will last about twice that. Here is an interesting thought. Buy some online and have them sent to friend's places along the route. Recently I had to replace the rear tire on my wife's bike. I bought a City Grip online for $51.26... That same tire was over $100 at the dealer. You are going to need 2 of them. Something to think about.
