Forza ride in Chiang mai
I just got back from a three week tour of Thailand and the highlight of trip was the time I spent in Chiang Mai. My girlfriend and I fell in love with this city from the moment we stepped off the plane. During our time there I took the opportunity to rent a Forza and go for a run through the nearby mountains. The roads in the Doi Suthep area were spectacular to say the least and I spent hours riding up and down them past temples,Palaces, villages and retreats. The Forza performed beautifully in the conditions even though alot of it was spent carving switchbacks at lowish speeds. The rental company (pop carrent) had a massive selection of bikes ranging from sport tourers and scooters to current model sports bikes and were very good to deal with. They went over the bike with me documenting any marks and encouraged me to film the process if i wanted to. When I returned the bike they were taking delivery of a new 1000cc V-strom and all the staff were very excited about it. I strongly recommend visiting this beautiful part of the world and getting out there on two wheels.

Re: Forza ride in Chiang mai
We rented 125cc scooter in Katchananburi (sp?) when we were on a weekend getaway, and they were just 200 baht per day. I think that with the drop in tourism, particularly around Bangkok, due to the political protests, many tourist type places a desperate for business. I would be willing to pay 1,000 baht a day for a Forza if I was doing some country driving like you did. They are a little too bulky for Bangkok city driving though with splitting lanes.
