New to the Forum and to the PCX
Thought i would say hello as I'm new to the forum and to the PCX world.
Passed my CBT a month ago and collected my second hand PCX on Friday. Its my first ever bike as I'm more used to driving around in my BMW.
I work in Mayfair and commute in from just past Bromley. Its not a bad ride and i used to do it on a push bike before i ate to many pie's. Was the first time in today on the bike and all went well. Am taking it easy as i'm in no rush to get to work. just want to get there in one piece.
Have already removed the hump and cut out the plastic on the seat as it was giving me a pain in the bum as im 6'4" and need a bit more space. Have ordered some black patch's to cover the hole in the top of the seat to make it look a bit better than the tape that his has on there now.
Ive got on order a Givi top box and a little case for my sat nav on the front. Do need to get myself a clock next.

Hi potnoodle, now here's a forum name to ask about, and so I shall
How did you arrive at that name? (If you don't mind the asking). Congrats on the 1st scoot! You chose the right one. So many others are out there, but this ones "Got the Look!"

Re: New to the Forum and to the PCX
I got the name after from an Advert in the UK
It was for Potnoodles and the guy had an imaginary friend called Big Dave. My name is Dave and I’m a big lump so got the name potnoodle and it has just stuck.
Thanks for the welcome.
I’ll put some pictures up once I manage to make them the right size.

Okay Mr. potnoodle, thanks for your 'potnoodle' explanation, that makes sense
Looks like you've been busy with yer bike! I'm seeing a Smoked medium Givi screen, rear Honda(?) rack w/white Honda(?) top box, stock seat w/hump removed & holes patched, GPS bar mounted, and......hmm? Only One(?) mirror extension
or is it just the photo angles?
Tis Another fabulous White Scoot in "The House!"

Re: New to the Forum and to the PCX
Welcome to the forum I got my second-hand pcx 125 3 weeks ago for commuting to work. I find the bike brilliant I have a mixture of dual carriageway and city and it copes well. I have the shorter givi screen which is no good at above 45 mph. How is the taller screen I believe it's the taller one if you need mirror extensions. Again welcome I find this a very good forum.
Re: New to the Forum and to the PCX
My screen is the smaller/medium one i think. I got the mirror extension as i could not see to well in them as im a big lump.
im 6"4 and weigh 19.5 stone so all i could see was myself and part of the road in the mirrors lol
