Hey
i'm knew to this forum.
I would like to make the exhaust of my PCX a bit louder. It's the 150.
So i would like to ask, if anyone knows how to remove the exhaust wool, if included, partially from the exhaust (stock) ?
Some recommend to use WD40, instead of removing the wool.
Thx!
Andre

Re: Exhaust
Cut the silencer right off.
That'll do the trick.

Re: Exhaust
You could drill the muffler like some others have however personally I would suggest a takegawa exhaust. I have a silent sport on my 150. They are not too loud and look nice.
Re: Exhaust
I have a J Costa stainless steel exhaust. Pretty sure it is made by Arrow, as they look the same. A lovely sound and the oem one rusted within 12 months! I think I hit it twice on a kerb which didn't help matters. The S/S one is absolutely fine and will last for years. The silencer is removable. Well worth the £150 and looks nice too.

^^^ this will explain and has detailed pics on what's really inside the stock exhaust. like I posted in another thread that the best mod is to drill directly into the pipe with at least a 22mm drill bit. This is for the stock exhaust.
